COURSE PURPOSE

The general purpose of the course is to equip students   with knowledge, skills and attitude that will enable him or her embrace entrepreneurship and apply their principles in personal, group, private or public business enterprises

At the end of the course, students should be able to:

1.              Demonstrate an understanding of entrepreneurial theories and philosophies.

2.              Explain the contribution of entrepreneurship in national development of an economy.

3.              Understand the forces driving the growth of entrepreneurship.

4.              Describe the process of New Venture Creation.
